2nd BCT Media Links

This blog centralized media links for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division during its deployment from Korea to Iraq as part of OIF 2.5, Aug 2004 - July 2005. It was updated daily over the year, with only sporadic updates since. It is left on-line for historical interest (although many links are likely now broken) and as a tribute to the 2nd BCT servicemen who lost their lives serving in Iraq. May they rest in peace and may their legacy be forever remembered.

Support site for the 2nd Forward Support Battalion

Signe Marinik, the mother of a 2ID, 2FSB soldier, forwarded a link to a new Family Readiness Group site for the battalion: www.2id-fsb-frg.com. While the site is still in an early development stage, it aims to have information on each company, pictures, news, and other pertinent FRG information.

    I have tried to view the new support site. The inability to obtain the wonderful Microsoft Windows Media Player License for the MUSIC on the site completely BLOCKs the use of the site. While I understand the need for Copyright protection the mistake the webmaster made using this music SHOULD NOT totally block one from getting to the site to SEE it.
    Apparently after 10 computers have the license its all over for the rest of us.
